When I got the invite to review Wicked, I was all in.  We were both interested in seeing the movie, but never made it to the theatre.  Added bonus was being able to watch at home.

before we get to my top 5 reasons to watch, let’s check out the trailer

top 5 reasons to watch wicked:

  • the cast — cynthia, ariana, and everyone were absolutely amazing in these roles
  • the story — I loved the layers, the unexpected (for me) emotion, and the nods to the wizard of oz
  • the costuming — everyone looked gorgeous and the outfits were so fitting to each character
  • the look — i can’t wait watch this again so i can pay more attention to the background (especially the 9 million poppies that were planted)
  • the music — before the movie, i was only vaguely familiar with “defying gravity”, but all of the songs are so good (and again, cynthia and ariana were amazing)

”Are people born wicked or did they have wickedness thrust upon them?”

This movie really held up to the hype for me and I can’t wait to watch it again. I might be late to the party, but I’m definitely ready to make this my entire personality.

Huge thanks to Universal and Think Jam for spoiling me with a digital code. Wicked is available to watch at home now!
