Before we get to my top five reason to watch, let’s check out the trailer
top 5 reasons to watch Two Sentence Horror Stories
- the relevant topics — the first two episodes deal with school lockdowns, queer couples, trans kids, and bullying
- the great music — it’s perfectly creepy and excellent at setting the tone
- the scare jumps — there were a couple of scenes that got me and it was unexpected
- the wrap up — I loved knowing that everything was going to be finished in less than 30 minutes
- the structure — the episode starts with one sentence and you don’t get the second one until the end
Bag Man (S2E1): Be cool, stay in school. It’s easier for me to get you.
Elliot (S2E2): I don’t have many friends. That’s why I keep their bodies in the basement.
These first two episodes were right up my alley and not only am I looking forward to future episodes, I’m planning on going to find the previous season…and I’ve spent some time reading through the hashtag.
Huge thanks to The CW for the early screener preview. Two Sentence Horror Stories premiered on The CW on January 12, 2021 and airs on Tuesdays.
