The time there was a new name

Hello hello! Welcome to eleven thirteen pm!

I’ve been talking about the rebrand for what seems like forever and it’s finally here! Below I answered a few questions you might have and please let me know what you think!

So….why change everything?

I’m sure most people are wondering why I did a rebrand after 8 years of being where and what I was.  Let me assure you that it was terrifying.

To make a sort of long story short, it was part wanting something that didn’t have “book” in the title and part irritation that my title and URL didn’t match. I went into more detail {aka: rambling} in this discussion post.

What’s going to change?

As of right now, nothing.  I’m still going to do event recaps and all sorts of book things.  I’m hoping to be accepted for more press invites that I get, so there may be some branching out into movies, tv, and music.

Why eleven thirteen pm?

For about a year, every night, I would wake up at that time, no matter when I went to sleep.  When I first got the itch to rebrand, it was during that time period of waking up and I liked the sound of it. And when I finally broke down and told Michelle about it, she was all for it.

Now what?

As you can see, the layout of the site is still mostly the same as it was.  I may change it up in the future, but for now, I wanted something new, but familiar.

The time that I had set aside for all of the switching around didn’t work out as I planned and I have a feeling that I’ll be finding more things to update as I start actively using the site.  I have switched my social media handles — except IG which requires a waiting period, so that’s coming eventually — and I hope you’ll stay with me!

I will say it’s a little bittersweet to walk away from @book_junkee, but I’m excited to see what new things will happen.

Epic thanks to Geoffrey for my amazing new graphic, Ashley for answering all of my questions and handling the new URL, and as always, to Michelle, who is actually the brains of the operation.

In the meantime, welcome!
