Hi guys! HOW IS IT JULY ALREADY? I just can’t wrap my head around the idea that it’s actually summer and that SDCC is in 3 weeks or so.
Ready to settle in for the recap?
In June I read a total of 28 books. {Click on the covers for my review on GR}
I also got to beta read a super sekrit thing from Bethany Crandell and it was fabulous. Obviously it’s not on GR yet, so it doesn’t count on my challenge, but it definitely counts here.
Oh man. This month was insane for amazing things. I was sent the Heartless arc box {and legit screamed when I saw it}, The Graces, and Caraval. I also got the Crooked Kingdom mailing, the Nemesis arc pyramid of awesome, a signed copy of The Only Thing Worse Than Me is You from Lily Anderson, my doodled copy of The Raven King {thank you Maggie and Fountain Bookstore!}, The Replacement Crush from Entangled Teen, some amazing pretties from the back room of MG, and 14 pounds of gorgeousness.
Fangirled over:
- Nina LaCour and David Levithan for You Know Me Well
- Kiersten White and Marie Lu for And I Darken
Interviewed:
- Lauren Gibaldi for Autofocus
- Sarvenaz Tash for The Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love

- SDCC. The schedule won’t be released until 2 weeks before, so I don’t have any idea who is going to be there. There will definitely be a recap and I’ll be posting all of the photos on eleven {aka: my personal IG}.
How about you? How was your June? What was your favorite book?
I am in love with your blog. It’s so pretty. Anyway, I’M GOING TO SDCC TOO! I’m a Hall H groupie though, so that means I’ll either be inside Hall H or in line for Hall H the whole week. :(
I don’t know how you managed to read 28 books. My gosh! I barely got through 2 and half. haha I need to learn how to write my recaps this concisely. My ended up being a two parter because it was so long. It was my 1st attempt at writing one though.
THANK YOU!! And hooray for going to SDCC!! We don’t line up for anything because we’re snobs. LOLOL I like to roam the floor and be in the mix of people.
Thanks for reading and commenting!
Holy smokes 28 books read is a lot! I was happy with my 9, lol. I’m looking forward to the reviews about The Graces and Caraval. They are two of my most anticipated books. Also, I saw pics of your tattoo on Twitter- looks so good!
Take care,
Katie
Thank you!! Caraval is my top book of 2016, it’s just stunning. And I can’t wait to start The Graces, I’ll be reading it soon. I hope you love them when you read them.
Thanks for reading and commenting!!
It blows my mind that you can read that much!
It’s amusing to me because I thought it was a low month…
Thanks for reading and commenting!
You read so many books this month! ACOMAF is my favorite too, and I seriously can’t wait for book 3 (awesome tattoo, btw). Also I really want to read This Savage Song too! Anyway, I’m looking forward to read your interview with Kasie West because she’s like my fave contemporary authors and I really really love P.S I Like You <33
I love love loved ACOMAF and would do horrible HORRIBLE things to get my hands on book three. I don’t know if I’ll survive the wait. I hope you get a chance to read and love TSS, I thought it was amazing. The Kasie interview will be up close to the release date of PS I Like You.
Thanks for reading and commenting!!
I just finished And I Darken and I loved it! Traitor Angels was one of my favorite books this year as well. Let’s hope July is full of good books as well! You can check out my June post in the link below.
Yay for enjoying historical books!!
Thanks for reading and commenting!
I read four books in June; ha ha. Well I could say five because I re-read Memories Of Ash right after I finished it the first time. More tattoos are always a good thing! Especially literary ones. Finding Abbey Road looks interesting. Did you review it on Goodreads? I will have to go and look. :)
More tattoos are ALWAYS a good thing. :D Now I have to behave because of SDCC and then recovering from SDCC, so I probably won’t be back until September. :(
I did like Abbey Road, the entire series was fun.
Thanks for always reading and commenting!!
YAY for having an amazing month Stacee :D Thank you for sharing about it all sweet girl. <3 Ahh, I am forever jealous about the Heartless ARC box :) SO PRECIOUS. I need that book. Sigh. And yay for reading so much in June :D I cannot wait to finally get to read A World Without You very soon. <3 Hope July is amazing for you too sweet girl :)
I hope you enjoy A World Without You!!
